Movement Analysis and Targeted Treatment

This session involves a movement screen of the client's specific gait patterns.  Using his knowledge of biomechanics and gait developed under renowned coach Dan Pfaff, Alex will build a kinogram--a series of still-frames at key moments in the gait cycle--for the client to review.  We will then use the results of the movement screen to drive the subsequent body work.  The screen will provide a platform for body work that is both targeted and holistic, identifying key areas that require treatment, and how those key areas affect one another.

Two-Hour Movement Analysis and Targeted Treatment (Includes Still-Frame Kinogram):  $224

Coaching:  Remote or In-Person

Alex will design an individualized program to comprehensively prepare you for your goal event.  He will gather a detailed personal athletic history in order to determine an appropriate training level:  one that will propel you to your desired goals while preserving musculoskeletal health.  Alex will also confer with you about your personal weekly schedule, in order to determine where training will fit best alongside your other life demands.

A three-time nominee for Illinois Cross Country Coach of the Year, Alex has coached every level of athlete over the past eleven years:  middle school, high school, post-collegiate, and masters.  His athletes have included high school state record-holders and Division 1 runners, as well as recreational athletes.  Alex has been mentored by some of the world's best track and field coaches, including Dan Pfaff and Wynn Gmitroski.  He believes holistic, detailed, athlete-specific training is what yields the greatest performances--and the most enjoyment--for each person.
